Youth Programs & Church School

One doesn’t have to spend much time in the Gospels to realize that Christ had a special place in His heart for children and youth. He always made time for them and made sure that adults didn’t minimize their role. That is why our church is building a youth ministry program that reflects our belief that children are more than our future – they are to be a dynamic part of the present Church’s ministry.

We are called to reflect Christ’s love for children in our church and beyond. As a result, our children and youth programs are open to anyone who wishes their child to attend, whether you attend our church or not.

	Building Relationships – With a personal God and each other
	Education – Knowledge of God, the church, and becoming Christ-like.
	Service – Learning to love and serve others
	Worship – Involvement in the Church services and the way we live
	Having Fun – Through games, activities, and events

Church School - Grades 1-6

For our children in grade 1 through to grade 6, we offer a one hour weekly gathering at the church on Saturday’s at 5:00pm before the Vesper’s service from 6:00pm-6:30pm. While church school ends at 6:00pm, we love having the children stay for the Vesper’s service, where they are given the opportunity to participate in the readings and praye rs. Please feel free to join your children for this service.

Junior High Youth Group - Grades 7-9

For our youth in grade 7 through to grade 9, we offer a two hour weekly meeting on Friday’s from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. A typical meeting involves games, activities, hanging-out, eating, and discussing God, spirituality, and life.

Senior Youth Group - Grades 10 to Age 20

For our young adults in grades 10 through to age 20, we offer a chance to get together approximately twice a month. Meeting dates and time vary, so please check our "Calendar of Events" (or click here) for more specific information. Our Senior Youth Group does a variety of events from service projects, to Calgary-wide events, to movie nights.

Ladies Auxiliary

The contributions that our Ladies Auxiliary has made to our church has been extraordinary. Their dedication and commitment in fundraising, church social functions, and luncheons, has been exceptional. We thank the ladies auxiliary for their immense contribution and continued support.
